At Citizen Armor we are consistently working to upgrade the qualities of the Armor we offer, as well as seeking to drive down our costs and your price!. All of our armor layups pass the strict NIJ requirements for ballistic protection, but our armor packages have different attributes. Thickness, weight, and flexibility as well as price point, play a part in our various layups. We have recently added a new Prestige line and it will replace our Elite as our top of the line. For a limited time, we can offer our Prestige line at our current Elite price. When we have additional armor layups completely tested to NIJ standards, we will make them available to our customers.
We currently offer two types of soft body armor: Standard and Elite/Prestige. The standard is perfect for the person that needs an effective and discrete or concealable solution for handgun bullet protection at a great price. The Elite/Prestige provides a lighter thinner and more flexible armor solution for the person who's duties require the same high grade protection, but where the armor is used frequently or they need extra flexibility or concealment.
Our Elite/Prestige armor is significantly lighter, thinner, and more flexible than our Standard armor.
Our most popular selling armor is the V-Shield for Men and Women. With nearly half of all customers choosing the Elite level due to its higher qualities for a relatively small premium. Elite is a good price/performance upgrade, especially for wearing armor beneath clothing.
